First Day of School

ASB kids hand out paper schedules to all CHS students before school starts day 1, semester 1. 40 points in the gradebook.

To get full credit (40 points) for "Start O School", you:

#1) Work for Mr. Stern at the Freshman Orientation the night before school starts with ZERO need to come to day 1 early. At present, only Ryan Foster and Les Wrigley have said "I will be there". So I will take up to 3 more kids who text me saying "IN FOR THE 16th" - first come, first served.

#2) You must show up at the Commons before I get there (6:50) the first day of school. I will divide you up, and you will hand out schedules to kids in 1 of the 4 grades (I get to choose)
To get some credit (20 points) for "Start O School", you:
#3) Did not show up on time (6:50) the first day of school. However, you did show before 7:05 and went to help hand out schedules AND helped gather non-picked-up schedules after the bell rings. Dancers - Jacci just told me "no practice day 1" (so no worries being late)

** Start O' School **

** Tables & loitering **
An ASB golden rule that applies always throughout the year =

NO NON-ASB STUDENTS BEHIND A WORKING TABLE OR LINE. EVER. (Sched Handout, Alley, various sales tables, BBQ, DJ-ing, & many other chances) Grades drop if you invite your friend to sit down and 'help' you.

How important is this? Enough that if one of us (who has been warned before) on this year's roster does bring non-ASB behind the line at any time = this person will NO LONGER be in ASB.

It's not elitist; promise. I'll explain why in class.

Padlet button below - hit it and go post these 3 things:

#1) Your real name in SUBJECT line. Always.

#2) Reporting by 6:50 on Thursday - Post "Yes" (I'll be there) or "No" (you won't). If "Yes" = how are you getting there so early? (You and parents will be receiving a call soon if you say "No")

#3) Donuts or muffins? One or the other... don't be posting "well, it'd be muffins if you have caviar-mango crumb, but donuts if you have creme-filled artichoke fritters"
